Wildfox Swim

During our road trip, we decided it would be a great idea to stop at the beach and hang out for a few days, well that few days turned into two weeks.....oops. We stayed on a little island called Port St. Joe, it is only a few hours away from Destin, but if you're measuring distance in crowds of people who wear socks with their sandals (SHOOBIES), the place we stayed was light years away from Destin. I felt like I was stranded on an island. Me and my boyfriend always had the beach to ourselves, and the only noise to be heard was the sound of seagulls overhead and the lapping of the water, which was a vibrant blue and stretched out for miles. Growing up in Texas, my boyfriend had never seen a real ocean before. He was ecstatic, waking up every day at sunrise and swimming and snorkeling until sundown. We had the most amazing two weeks on this beach. Seriously, I could spend the rest of my life sitting on a beach, reading books, and sipping mojitos, and I would be the happiest person in the world. If you are planning a fabulous beach vacation and are looking for some new swimsuits, Wildfox Couture is the way to go. Their swimsuits are fun and unique, you won't find anything like them anywhere else. I hope y'all are having a great summer!

Bull Shoals-White River State Park

I am so sorry for being MIA lately, y'all. I can't believe my last post was on May 12th, that is just unacceptable! Next time I take this long to post just feel free to send me angry emails. I do have a good excuse for my absence though. I am doing a ton of traveling during May and June, and with all the fun I'm having and all the time it takes to explore, It is so hard to find time to sit down at my computer. I will be posting about my travels, and of course my travel outfits, so don't you worry! Last week me and my boyfriend drove from Austin all the way to Bull Shoals State Park in Arkansas. The drive took forever, but we had a blast singing all of our favorite 90's jams at the top of our lungs. When we finally arrived, I knew that long drive was worth it. It was the most breathtaking view I have ever seen. Peacocks roamed around the lush green grass, Willow trees hung lazily all around our campsite, and the water, oh my god the water! The river was long and wide with water so clear you could see all of the pink and turquoise colored trout shimmying through the water. We fished every day (yeah, I actually like fishing, it surprises me too) from sun up to sun down. We took what we caught back to our campsite and cooked them up for dinner. We also spent a lot of time riding bikes, which was great because I forgot how much I loved riding a bike. I love Austin with all my heart, this place will always be my home, but it is so nice to get away every once in awhile. To experience new towns, people, and ways of living. I hope all of you get to escape from reality for a little while this summer. I'll be back to outfit posts tomorrow, I love all of you!

Simple Sunny Dressing

It's Spring Break and Austin, Texas is a whirlwind of live music, movie premieres, and celebrity take overs. SXSW is upon us once again. As an Austinite, I love and hate this time of year. There are so many fun things going on in the city which is absolutely amazing, Austin is never boring. On the downside, there are people everywhere, which really sucks. I can't go to any of my favorite eateries or hang out spots without having to wait in line or without being forced to jam up against complete strangers since everywhere is so packed! It's not for very long though, SXSW will come and go and soon enough my beautiful and quirky little city will be back to normal. with all the spring break/SXSW activities going on I really don't have time to plan super intricate outfits. I wake up, throw on something cute, and run out the door to soak up these vacation days. I actually love the relaxed vacation look, so I am not complaining. To get that perfect laid back look I matched my favorite dark washed high wasted shorts with a white shirt, a beautiful brown hat, and funky loafers. It's simple, easy, and looks good. I hope everyone is having an amazing spring break!

Today's Inspiration: Vacation Vibes

I've been having a terrible week, life has been so hectic lately. I am in need of a vacation. Unfortunately I won't be taking one until the summer, so instead I'll look at pictures of people relaxing and I'll cry of jealousy. I love the simplicity of a vacation outfit. Denim, white t shirts, pretty sandals, and hats. Vacation outfits are so relaxation chic. One of my favorite parts of going on vacation is actually shopping for vacation outfits. I hope all of you have a chance to go on a lovely vacation soon, and if not, here are some pictures to lose yourself in.
