Friday's Favorites: Brown Leather

Brown leather anything is my favorite to wear during the warm weather months. I don't know what it is about brown leather, but to me it screams sunshine and flowers and warmth, and those summer nights where you feel wild and free. Brown leather shoes and accessories don't scream out for your attention, but they can bring an entire outfit together. I am loving my new brown leather and wood platforms, they are easy to walk in and they go with everything in my closet. I know that this summer, when I'm running around San Francisco, New Orleans, and Destin, these will be my go to shoes. Happy almost summer my loves!

Friday Favorites: Slip-on shoes

I decided to start a new segment on my blog called Friday Favorites. Every Friday I will post an item that I am so in love with and let you know where to get your own. Today, I want to talk about these bronze metallic slip-ons. They are beautiful, comfortable, and go with everything. Slip-on shoes are big in the fashion world right now. Everyone makes them now, from Celine to Vans. Don't get me wrong, I love heels, but there is nothing better than running around town in a comfortable, yet fashionable, pair of slip-on shoes. They add a nice touch to any outfit and if you can't afford a designer pair, you can get cute slip-ons anywhere. These Van Slip-ons are a Nordstrom exclusive and only like $50. That's a steal. My boyfriend did great this Christmas. He bought me these amazing shoes from Steve Madden and I fell in love right then and there. They are the perfect addition to any outfit. I'm not really a shoe girl (I know what..) I just love clothes, shoes have always taken a backseat. I'm changing that though, I have been shoe shopping like it's my job lately. Shoes can really make an outfit. I think every girl should invest their money in at least one pair of really killer shoes that they can rock with any outfit.


(I can't seem to find any of the pieces I'm wearing online, mostly because they are old, but you can find leather pants and striped oversized shirts anywhere)
