Spring Retro

 Like I said in my last outfit post, I am completely obsessed with the Australian fashion scene right now. Their designers are so creative. They are producing beautiful clothing using vibrant patterns and intricate details. This skirt, designed by the Australian label Casper & Pearl, is a work of art. The colors are mesmerizing, captivating even. When I first received this skirt, I sat with it for hours just appreciating the colorful details. That sounds crazy, but I appreciate this skirt like I appreciate a painting. Clothing is just art that you wear, so don't waste your money on boring clothes. You should have a good mix of basics and stand out items in your wardrobe. Happy Spring shopping!

Today's Inspiration

The theme of today's outfit inspiration is mixing patterns. Not only mixing patters, but learning how to rock bold patterns. For some reason, mixing patterns has always scared me. I just never know if I am doing it right or if I look stupid. I have been getting a lot better at it though thanks to vogue and the internet. Mixing patterns and rocking bold patterns is so much fun. Velvet mixed with plaid, plaid on plaid, and extreme retro plaid pants mixed with a chambray shirt are some of my favorite looks. They make a statement and show people that you are not afraid of fashion. So take the leap and mix your clothes, you will discover a whole new side of yourself you didn't even know existed.
